Thanks for bringing a little bit of light into the world. Great illustrations. I hope they are your own.

Hi there, everything you see on the site is my own work, I’m so glad you like it and it has made you smile. That is exactly why I love sharing my art, so thank you 😊

Thank you so much, that is such a kind thing to say. I am still developing as an artist, thoroughly enjoying myself along the way though

I think you’ll always be developing as an artist though. We’re always honing our craft and being better than we once were.
I must admit, after years of trying to be any good at art (although of course not putting in the appropriate practice and hours) I am jealous of someone who can make it look so natural.
I still can’t get the hang of Photoshop. A little better at Illustrator, but nothing substantial.

There is a lot of undoing and corrections, trust me. It’s not all completely natural 🙂 The thing to remember I think is that you have your own style, it doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s to be good as long as you are creating something. Photoshop and I never really gelled either if I’m honest. I found it very fiddly and it didn’t really flow for me. I love corel painter, it feels a lot more like actual painting and I can’t describe how much I love procreate on the ipad. It might be worth trying a few other programs. It’s kind of like finding a medium that works for you in traditional art. I never could get on with colour pencils but give me some pastels and a pencil and I am away!
