Catching up

As well as a wedding, I realised that my iPad memory was completely full. Not so full that I had no more room for new drawings, nope. So full that the wonderful slab of technical marvellousness would not even open an email. So yesterday, after 3 hours of faffing and panicking that I would have to do a factory reset I have freed up enough space to catch up with my animal alphabet. One more to go and then the rest of the day I will be going through the laborious process of backing up all the artwork I should have backed up months and months ago. What a wedding

Well, the wedding was great. It was set in a medieval church here in Kent. The groom went for a steampunk theme, with striped trousers and cogs and feathers in his hat. The bride looked wonderful in white and spectacular Victorian style jewellery. They even had a barn owl as their ring bearer! There was handfasting, broom jumping and Yorkshire pudding with beef canapés. We toasted them with mead and set off smoke grenades of every colour for the photos. Seriously the best and most fun wedding I have ever been to. I am now exhausted, so much so that I couldn’t make the reception party on Saturday night. I was in bed by 9 and no I am not in my 60s though I feel like it most days. Sorry for the lack of posts but that much fun takes it out of me. Anyway, I’m back and catching up with the animal alphabet. So here is j for jerboa

H is for hippo

I haven’t forgotten the funnies, I’m just a little time strapped atm. A friend has come to stay and I have a big wedding to go this week so doodling has taken a bit of a back seat. I will see what I can do. In the meantime, here is a hippo.
